Packing for life in a dorm is always challenging, I am sure. It was different in so many ways this time with Peyton. We drove with Christopher to SMU in Dallas and he had his own car by then. He could get whatever he needed without a problem. Tom and I packed extra food, even though there is an unlimited array of restaurants on campus at Ohio University. We left early….around 4 in the morning September 1st…it was dark. We made a last minute check of the suitcases before we zipped them up. Good thing we did….
no outfit is complete without dog hair.
The Spookster was trying to stow away with Peyton. She has been sleeping in his bed with him for a few weeks now. My luggage got lost on the way home. I was kind of wishing that I could have stayed just a day or two more and missed the transfer also.
We owe the wonderful blessing of owning this awesome Australian Shepherd to our sister, Moye and I just found out a LOT about the Pomeranian breed in a great magazine that Moye gave us. It reads that the Pomeranian breed was originally bred as a sled dog and they weighed 30 pounds and up. Well, Okie our little 10 pound Pomeranian is not hindered by his bred down mini size. He knows when the alarm goes off in the form of a sharp, ear piercing bark that there is a sheep or goat in the yard. It is such a game for this one particular little pygmy goat…..she LOVES teasing them and they actually play together until Sky and Okie team up and decide that the game is over…..The goat has gotta go!!!!!!
Muffy only weighed about 4 pounds full grown. She was the size of a hamster when she was born.. She had diabetes as a puppy and had to come with us wherever we went…She would fit in my purse and keep quiet during basketball games or even in the grocery store…..
Spooky loves the attention. She is the smallest and easiest to carry around. She never has to walk anywhere…
Got my bear, got my Spooky
Sleep tight, don’t let the bugs bite. Or better yet….let’s just watch movies all night !!!!!!!
Let’s watch Lassie again. Shrek is much too scary for me!
Don't worry Noche will watch over us all night
I don’t like thunder or loud noises from the TV, but I love everybody and everything…..I am a happy camper, as long as I have my family. I even accidently got closed in the pantry last night. I didn’t make a peep. I thought that’s where you wanted me to be. Maybe I did something bad that I couldn’t remember…..You were SO glad when you found me. Every day I learn more and more how much you love me!
Spooky is no Stoopy dog. She knows how to get her two sisters to believe that there is a coyote attacking the cats and when they charge out the door, she leads me back into the kitchen to get an extra treat. When they come back into the house 2 minutes later, she is sitting on the couch guarding her cookie and looking like the queen of the animal planet.
